Child Safety Standards against CSAE
These standards apply to NearMe, package name com.people.nearme, developed
and published on Google Play by Vitalii Kuznetsov. NearMe has zero tolerance for
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), grooming,
sextortion, trafficking, or any conduct that exploits or endangers children.
1. Scope of these standards
NearMe is a location-based safety and mutual-assistance app. These standards apply to all user-generated content and communication surfaces in NearMe, including SOS reports, incident comments, private rooms, support messages, profile information, attachments, and any future feature that lets users submit or exchange content.
NearMe is not designed for child-directed use. A person who is below the age required by local law to use this type of service must not use NearMe.
2. Explicit prohibition of CSAE and CSAM
NearMe strictly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). NearMe also strictly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), including any visual depiction, text, link, instruction, solicitation, or coordination related to the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor.
- Users must not create, upload, request, store, share, link to, or distribute CSAM.
- Users must not sexualize minors or discuss minors in a sexual context.
- Users must not groom, coerce, blackmail, sextort, traffic, or solicit minors.
- Users must not arrange or attempt to arrange sexual contact with a minor.
- Users must not use NearMe to facilitate abuse, exploitation, or harm involving children.
3. In-app reporting and user feedback
NearMe provides in-app support and feedback channels that users can use to report safety concerns, abuse, illegal content, child safety issues, or suspected CSAE/CSAM. Users can also report urgent child safety concerns by email.
Email reports should be sent to
support@people-near.me
with the subject Child Safety Report. If a child is in immediate danger,
users should contact local emergency services first.
4. How NearMe addresses CSAM after actual knowledge
When NearMe obtains actual knowledge of suspected CSAM, CSAE, grooming, sextortion, or related child safety harm, NearMe may take one or more of the following actions:
- remove, disable, or restrict access to the reported content;
- restrict, suspend, or terminate the account or device involved;
- preserve relevant evidence where allowed or required for safety, legal, or abuse-prevention purposes;
- review related account, device, incident, and support records for connected abuse patterns;
- cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
5. Compliance with child safety laws
NearMe is committed to complying with applicable child safety laws and regulations. Where required by law, NearMe has a process to report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or to the relevant regional authority for the jurisdiction involved.
Nothing in these standards prevents NearMe from taking urgent safety action when child safety risk is identified.
6. Enforcement and repeat abuse
NearMe may use account, device, support, incident, and abuse-report signals to prevent repeat abuse. Attempts to evade enforcement by creating another anonymous account, changing a name, merging into a Google account, or using another device may result in further restrictions.

This contact is designated to receive child safety notices from Google Play and user
reports about CSAE, CSAM, and related child safety issues in NearMe. Please include
Child Safety in the email subject when possible.
8. Review and updates
NearMe may update these published standards as product features, safety practices,
laws, or Google Play requirements change. The current public version remains available
